Expressing grief after the loss of a loved one is often a strange experience in our culture, especially as the months and years pass by. We feel the pressure to return to normal and cope. Grief doesn’t fit into the routine. Grief is messy, unpredictable, unprecedented and ongoing.
We want to create a space for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one to be comforted in our services of remembrance and hope. Everyone is welcome.
There will be a time to remember in the lighting of candles and a time to find hope in a song, some prayers and in the gathering together with others travelling a similar journey. There is no need to RSVP, just come along on the night.
